Post New business/store research

Hello,
Was wondering if anyone knows of a good site or news source that shows when/where new stores are opening, specifically for Walmart.

Looking at investing in a building in a small town that walmart might come to.

Thank You
Kris

I was under the impression that Walmart no longer moved into pre-existing buildings, but rather has moved to a strategy of building their own centers.

alyssa: have tried google research, local research, walmartfacts.org ... can't find it...
jmen: they wouldn't be moving into an existing building, they would move into town area.. the building i'm looking at investing in would be near it... so I'm hoping they come in and raise property value

Gotcha. I hate speculating, so unless I had a rational basis for determining that (1) Walmart is coming to town, (2) property prices will appreciate as a result, and (3) the price of the property which I'm considering will be one of those appreciating properties, I would not purchase.
