Hey guys, I am currently attending University of Rhode Island and honestly i need a way to pay for the next 3 years, everyone I've talked to about starting up a way for cashflow tells me i need a good mentor, someone that will show me how to do it right, thats basically what I'm looking for. If someone is successful enough to help me out i would be very motivated and diligent in getting something done, if theres no one out there it was worth a try lol...

POsting on a forum is not the best way to find a mentor. You should be networking with people locally. Joins clubs and organizations at your school, join community organizations, join nonprofits, go to seminars, speeches and other events. You need to build personal relationships with someone before they will be willing to invest the time and energy to help you out.

I totally agree with jasaunders - the more you network the better the chance you'll find someone to truly mentor you. The people you meet on forums are simply people you can get advice from. If you are near Boston there should be a TON of social groups you can join through your Chamber of Commerce, Local Universities, or through SCORE. Do some research..... you'll find someone....

Until them... post your questions and thoughts on here... you'll get decent feedback sometimes...
