Moved from Las Vegas to San Diego. Should I re-file my DBA?

My sole proprietorship SEO company that I work from home on is registered as a Nevada DBA in Las Vegas. I moved to San Diego recently.

Do I need to register my DBA in San Diego county as well? If so, where do I go to do that?

    Thanks,
    Srini

If you're going to stay in CA and establish residency, then yes. Go to the county clerks office downtown.

I lived in San Diego for years, then moved north to OC. Now, I'm heading to Vegas. I refuse to pay CA taxes any longer.

Enjoy San Diego man, it's a great place.

You'll have to check into state law. Might consider an LLC too.
