Hi, I have a product that I would like to introduce to the market and I would need the following things in order to make this possible.

1. I would like to outsource to a company that would make my product and package with brand name. (product is made of cotton and fabric, like a plush toy)

Does anybody have any leads as to where I can get information from a company that does this type of work? Can you help me?

You might wanna try Allibaba . Google the word Allibaba and it should come up.

NOO Alibaba, NO DHGATE or any other of those whole sale trading websites.
First find a product similar to the one your interested in selling locate find what country it is manufactured in. Then go to Google and type in "google china" (if China were the country the item was manufactured in.) From there choose to see only the websites from that country. Google also does translate the websites, so you will be able to get an idea if you found a good one. After that all you do is search and look through every lead you can find and locate a contact number#. Any manufacture you find that is able to supply your demand will most likely either have a Skype contact# or MSN contact E-mail clearly visible on the main page. Every item is made somewhere so if you can find the company that does it than you will most likely be able to get it just as cheap as major corporation depending on the quantity you buy. Find out the MOQ and shipping costs, also weather or not they drop ship. This is exactly what I did to locate a supplier for Digital photo frames. My reseach sent me looking through endless web searches. Eventually though I found the right supplier.

if you are really serious about your product you should consider visiting factories in China or the Canton Fair. If you really need to develop custom, private brand products it is virtually impossible to do it online. You need a relationship with a factory to leverage and to get that, you need to meet them in person.
