I'm an established LLC. I want to set up a new LLC and EIN for our marketing department. When I started four years ago, I had an attorney establish the LLC and EIN for me.
My question is: Can I do it myself? If so, can someone give me "how to set up an EIN & LLC for Dumbies?" (think I spelled dumbies wrong)

Dummies...English just does not make sense sometimes.

You do not need an attorney to setup an LLC. The paperwork is 3-4 pages of simple questions.

First get your new EIN. This can be done instantly over the phone, during business hours of course. IRS Business and Specialty Tax Line 1-800-829-4933. They will provide you with your EIN over the phone, then provide you with the documentation in a few weeks in the mail.

What state are you in? Your state will have a website, with downloadable forms. You need to download that form, fill it out, include check, and mail it in. You shoud get EIN first, because you will use that EIN on your LLC form.
