My friend and I have recently begun the process of going into business together. Our first project is an album release here in Los Angeles though this is only one of our interests. Eventually we want to start a clothing company and several other ventures as our capital builds. My question is regarding incorporation, because we have more than one business venture on our mind I thought it would be a good idea to incorporate so that we can have several businesses under one umbrella. But is this a good avenue to go down? If not why? Or if so what type of corporation should we register as (LLC, LLP, etc.)? Well, thank you for your help.
