computer reseller & services

I would like to open small computer sales and services shop but I have no idea where to start or If It Is profitable .

Could anyone help me out,please.

Computer sales is not very profitable. Most of the money is made in service. I would start with a business plan that lays out all of the information. A plan will take you from the overall goal, through financials, to competitive analysis and etc.. Thats where you start.

I do appreciate your help.So, should I concentrate pc repair only or I should
supplement with sales as well.what about selling used computers .

do both. you can still profit from sales, it may be not as much as you would make repairing but it will keep a constant stream of money. (if you get customers) Then you can also do repair. Sales doesnt take much time, just referbish a PC then put a tag on it. its worth the extra $ on top of your computer repair.

It would take hourS to explain everything. You can't explain a full plan in one simple email. It takes many emails back and forth til your both on the same page
