    after ordering from website?

    I m a creating a product.

They way I will be selling it, is through the website.

Whats the process after a customer orders from the website?

I kinda confuse, because its not like I have the inventory out my house and I can just ship the package to them my self?

How does all of this work?
Do they have Internet distributing company out there?
    Can this be automated?

    How to do it.

This mostly depends on the type of product that you are creating. If you have a digital product then there are online shopping carts like Zen-Cart that can automate the ordering process for you. People pay and after they pay they have access to the product.

If you are selling a physical product then you will need to fill the order yourself. I use PayPal which lets me know if I made a sell. It tells me what the customer purchased and where to ship it. The only way that you'll be able to have an automated process is if someone else was responsible for shipping. Like Avon has that where the members that sell Avon product just sale and don't have to worry about shipping products because Avon takes control of that.

    Thanks

    really do appreciated the help.

One of my weakness was the operation of the internet sale and how it all works.
I will take this into consideration when putting my business plan together.

    The product is physical.

It will be alot of easier if you are selling information product.

after a person decide a sale, they are easily able to download your e book automatically.

you will redirect them to thank you pages, where they can download your product after a sale!

You don't say what kind of product, but it really does not matter too much, because even C/D and DVD products, as well as books can be handled this way.

There are companies referred to as "fulfillment houses" that will hold your goods and ship it for you. This can be real products, like a football or a garden hose, or a bicycle, etc. Or, it can be books or disks. Some will even print or produce your book or C/D - DVD on demand and ship to the address you send them.

As mentioned, you can also get "shopping cart" scripts to make the sale and send the order to the fulfillment house. Of course, you need to make sure you actually have a good payment, so it's best to not automate it too much.
