$10 Billion Trader, looking for trading capital
I've traded over $10,000,000,000 in value as a full-time securities & derivatives trader for the past 7 years. I recently started and funded an alternative money mangement business... a CTA - Commodity Trading Advisor but I ran out of capital... $500,000 wasn't enough and I had to file chapter 7. I'm now out of capital but have a proprietary trading relationship where I can get leverage of 20-100 to 1. During my trading career I have produced over 700% returns. I have a MBA, 2 BS degrees in Accounting & Business Admin., series 7, 63, 55, 3, and have been a past member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. I'm looking for $100k -$1M to trade. I'm open minded to terms and would like to split profits 50/50. Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Hey, welcome to the forum Steven. Were you a stockbroker or an investment banker?

I was a stockbroker for 6 years before becoming an independent trader.
Also, I can provide proof of who I am.

Steven it might be a wise idea to prove that you are who you state you are and can prove that you've traded this value and you can prove your return rate etc.
It's nice to see we have a member of your calibre on the forum, so lets hope we see you around

Steve, most people here are just shoe-stringing low-return, low-volume online businesses. You're barking up the wrong tree I fear, most of this guppies couldn't afford the due dilligence.
Waht you have to trade, although of value, is likley to have a limited shelf life (so you need people who can make real commercial desicions fast - not mess you about) but I think you're clutching at straws on this site. Not many people here have $100k to $1M liquid, and even less would be suitable investors for your business as they don't understand business, never mind the complexities of financial derivatives and the trading there of.
Your best bet, in my humble view, is to approach the corporate and high net-worth clients in your network who already know your track record, and who you've made profits for. It's a great opportunity for them to become the house (in a sense) and win more.
I used to be a FX broker with CMC Plc in London and I still have some contacts active in London and Dubai. I could put your exec. brief in front of them to see if they are interested (including £Billionaire Peter Cruddas).
Have you tried more conventional routes of funding like investment brokers and/or angel networks? Out of interest, who did you trade with?

Received, will call send it to Peter today and call hime tomorrow to get initial feedback. Peter is currently launching in China, so the whole thing might take a little longer than normal. Do you have a set time frame in mind?
