Seeking partners/developers/capital to develop successor to Freelancer.com
Freelancer is the largest website in its market, which has transferred nearly $1 billion so far between roughly 6.8 million users, with the company taking a percentage of those exchanges as profit. Freelancer's marketing strategies and its ever-growing list of inherent complexities prevent it from ever reaching market potential. The site's production output and relative usefulness is also compromised due to the technically inefficient design of its system.
I've developed a system which has the potential to not only compete with Freelancer on a professional level, but also to reach much larger audiences using much simpler methods. During the entire four years that I spent doing research and development, the market has consistently shown me that Freelancer and its competitors are not even close to implementing the types of solutions my design proposes.
At age 27, with my 10+ years experience in freelancing combined with the unlikely casual hobby of systems engineering, I've arrived at efficient, minimalist solutions which would drastically reduce workflow complexity and save incalculable amounts of time for users, meanwhile offering greater and more useful functionality to both new and existing markets.
Given the quotes I've received from various developers, it's estimated that v.1 of the site would cost ~$10k to develop and v.2 would be ~$40k. Those quotes do not account for cloud storage costs, marketing, or general business operations either.
As the title of this thread states, I'm currently looking to secure capital, developers, and partners.

This sounds very interesting and I can see some potiential in your ideas. I am very interested in helping you develop this new company and make it to reality. However, I would first like to know more information on how you are going to do this and basically your business plan.
Thank you
Allen
