I think this idea was a ton of potential, I just don't have the time to make it reality. My lack of time, can be someones potentially HUGE gain.
Ever since I saw the success of the Million Dollar Homepage, I have had it in the back of my mind to hopefully come up with something as successful.
The domain that I acquired that might do this is:

Yes, it's that simple. It could basically be set up exactly as the hugely successful The Big Word Project - Viral marketing campaign to redefine the dictionary ...but instead of words - numbers.
My theory is that people might want to attach their websites to numbers just as much as words.
The beauty is that there is an infinite amount of numbers, where eventually the "word" guys may run out of good words.
I just figured that if people would pay $1 a letter to define a word, there might be people that pay the same for each digit in a number...
While obviously the potentially unique words that people would pay to define is greater then numbers, but there is thousands of numbers that would have "value" to define as well.
For example:
7 & 21 - for a gambling sites
365 - calendar site
180 - energy drink site
300 - movie site
420 - stoner sites
1999 - Prince fan?
8675309 - for a girl named Jenny(as well as any other phone numbers)
666 - for those that are evil
69 - well that's just obvious!
These are just off the top of my head - like I said above, there are infinite numbers that people might pay to sponser(like any 'year' number as well)
On a side point - not to sound shady or anything, but the opportunity to "hold on" to some of the 'key' numbers - to later auction off or sell after an initial successful rollout - could even make a site like this even more profitable. (holding on to the number '69' to sell to a pornsite in the future could garner much more then $2 - not that I would suggest that by any means!)
So with all humbleness, I think I've shown that the financial success to exploring a site like this would be one that I think a "go getter" could make some serious bank. All I ask is a nice price so I can make my creative projects a reality.
I would do this myself, but I really don't have the technical know how to do so(even though I did a "want ad" on a computer programmer site & they said they could set something up similiar to the word project site for like $100) I have my plate full trying to get my creative franchise BLACKOUT DRUNK off the ground.(which is my true love)
