We have the licence to produce ltd edition watches for large premiership clubs, we require investment but returns (as proven are large)

Hi, my name is Kris Ward, I run the company Ward and Co Watches, my business partner used to be the owner of a large watch manufacturer who used to produce ltd edition watches for the english premiership, the venture went great until the partners fell out, the company in questions made hundreds of thousands each year.

We have done the hard part and acquired the licence for clubs such as Arsenal, Westham, Tottenham, Man City, Everton and potentially Rangers. We have other clubs and have 3000 watches in production. We retail the watches at £99 + £6.50 postage and packaging. We do however need funding to pay for the licencing for the clubs and also need marketing and advertising costs, the investment required is around £70000, however we are oppen to options and if a group of individuals wanted to put up the funds for individual licences then we could do a profit share on the clubs.

Our watch manufacturer has also stated that he will cover any investors capital, this is becuase he has many different avenues to sell the 3000 watches and also is required is a dial change.

We have access to shopping channels, national newspapers etc.

Based on past figures if we were only to sell to 2% of season ticket holders then the profit would still be over £100 000 for the first year. Leaflets are sent out by the clubs (which we produce) and are sent directly to fans. The previous company that did this used to hit 7% of season ticket holders and also sold to none season ticket holding fans, we are having a webiste built and also have hotel sites where the watches can be placed, will sell the larger clubs to sopping channels and can go off the page in TV magazines and newspapers.

We have spoken to a number of investors but all of them require a large part of the company for very little funding, some have been time wasters and it is strange as they all know how well the company did in the past.

If anybody is truly interested please get in touch, we must move fast for christmas and are currently speaking to a number of other investors. The business model works well and can be expanded, as stated the hardest part was obtaining the licences and the only reason why we have done this so quickly is down to a colleague who used to be the marketing director of Manchester United for 14 years, he knows all the other commercial directors, it is not a business which individuals off the street can do.

Thanks for reading, any questions please ask.

    Regards
    Kris Ward

Check out Funding Universe or Go Big Network. There may be a watch enthusiast or someone who is interested in elite accessories or licensing there.
