Trying to find investor/capital to start up business

I live in southern Colorado (Bananna Belt) and am trying to start my own HVAC business. I have an associates degree in HVAC and 10 years experience. I live in a community that is demanding a more professional and accountable HVAC contractor. I have brought more experience and products to this town than any other contractor has. Im tired of my boss making great money from all my hard work with no extra returns to me. I want to be able to offer emergency service, residential changeouts, and new residential/light commercial construction as well. Unfortunately in order to be properly prepared for the work load thats steadily coming in I need funds for equipment, working capital, and inventory.
I have a business plan, experience, and the work ethic to make this a profitably venture, but who do I contact?
All the banks have turned me down because I have not been in business for 2 years, but I cant get started without the start up loan.

    Any advice?

    Thanks
    Duskel

    Contact your local SBA.

You can do that, or try posting a request for one on BizzFlip

My local SBA just gave me the cold shoulder. I was really dissatisfied with the way I was treated and they didn't help me at all. I am going to try again, however I just hope I can get a different SBA agent to help.

Go to more banks. Not all banks (most banks don't) require 2 years in business. They can provide you with an SBA backed loan which is of very little risk to them. So you are trying the wrong banks.
