transferring money from US to canada

who knows the best way to transfer money from US to canada and vice versa the cheapest? and experience would help

If it's over $10,000 USD, what you need to do is go to the bank and withdraw the money in all $100 bills. Then what you do is buy a bunch of velcro straps. You wrap the bills in plastic and tape it together with packing tape, then you strap it to your body with the velcro. You could strap it around your legs, and body. Make sure you are wearing baggy pants.
Then you just take a flight between the two countries, but try not to act nervous in the airport, or they will catch on to your illegal scheme.

My clients in Russia simply do a bank to bank wire transfer. We have never had a problem.

Any major bank will do. Open an account that doesn't nickle and dime you, though.
