Welcome,

For the past 5 years I and lots of other people have been watching ILLEGAL bootleg movies online. During my time as a bootleg film goer, I have witnessed the movie industry fail miserably at preventing bootleggers from watching movies online for free. At one time I thought it would be a profitable venture to build a site around hosting shared links and generating revenue through popup adds, but I scrapped that idea when international laws were created to prevent this.

I still watch movies online, but I get really tired of all the popup adds, spyware, and not to mention the fact that it's still ILLEGAL to do so. I have spent the last month trying to find out if anyone has figured out a way to bypass the ILLEGAL aspect of this, but nobody appears to be working on a way to solve this problem.

I don't even need to bring up statistics about this issue. The fact is that artists, producers and anyone invested in movie production are loosing BILLIONS annually.

Google recently created YouTube.com/Movies, but at $3.99 per movie, they're once again joining the loosing crowd because they aren't providing what the market demands. Netflix recently had to change their prices and offer separate membership options, simply to account for their losses. Hulu is on the verge of bankruptcy because they can barely make enough money to keep the lights on. Finally 4G phone developers are beginning to offer movies on phones, but once again at around 4 bucks a movie and not to mention a TINY screen, they're all going to loose >>BIG BUCKS<<.

All of these companies are trying to offer movies that have already been on video for a long time. Long being less that 1 day out on video. I say this is long because I can personally watch ANY movie I want, that's available on DVD, the same day it's released FOR FREE and I don't have to download it. I also don't have to watch ANY adds or wait till they have the movie (Netflix). The movie industry is wrong because it thinks that by delaying the time a movie is released for viewing online, they're going to generate more RENTAL revenue. This is a critical error because limiting what can be legally viewed only prompts more illegal activity.

That is why I came up with my MOVEE business plan.

Here are the benefits to offering movies at home vs in theaters.

1. No more high priced snacks and drinks
2. No more worrying about putting your feet up.
3. No more talking, cell phone interruptions, or babies crying.
4. No more long drives to the theaters or waiting in lines.
5. No more delayed release times, digital travels at light speed.
6. No more missing movies during bathroom breaks.
7. No more illegal recording during showtime. (bet you wonder how, lol)
8. ???? ADD YOUR OWN "no more"!!!

Here are the cons to offering movies at home vs in theaters.

1. Ticket prices during opening weekend will drop by 20-30%
2. DVD's and Blue Rays will become obsolete.
3. Blockbuster (might) go bankrupt, as (might) Netflix, Hulu and others..
4. People will probably pay for a lot more theater movies.
5. ???? ADD YOUR OWN "con"

Once movies are brought out of Theatrical Viewing, the price will be much less than $3.99 per rental, but add revenue (can) account for the majority of losses.

I currently work in Management and Public Relations and understand what people want, as well as having a personal understanding as a movie fan myself.

One day, whether because of this idea or not, we will all have the option of watching movies, that are (supposedly only) in theaters, at home, but why wait till ONE DAY when we can capitalize on the opportunity while the market is ripe for change?

This idea could potentially revolutionize the process and anyone interested in becoming part of this should reply.
