    Struggling Business Needs YOUR Help

Like many businesses today, ours is in trouble and could use your help. My husband and I (along with our partner) purchased a 7 year old upscale advertising magazine in March 2008. The 3 of us had been working for the previous publisher for a number of years – with me (as the Art Director) the longest for 6 of the 7 years. The previous publisher was not the best businessman – but over the years we could see the magazine’s eventual potential. Then enter the economic downturn these past few months. The business is in serious jeopardy – and our financial future with it. We need your HELP! We need someone (with or without financial assistance) who can come in, take the helm and steer the ship out of danger – and will reap the future financial benefits with us. We know there is SOMEONE out there who is challenged by what we request. If you are this person or know of someone who is – or can offer us additional advice – please respond soon. We would like desperately to end this year on somewhat of a positive note. Thank you.

The best companies pull through recessions. You have to know when your at fault or when it is just the economy. It's possible for the problem to be both and this would set you far behind even more. Your best bet is expand your marketing. Instead of having just a regular magazine you could expand into an online magazine as well thus attracting more people from around the world. Thats just one idea though.

I'm actually starting an online magazine correlating with a book im writing, some of my articles are posted on my blog, Sol Enterprises: The Revolution

Feel free to PM me though, i'd love to help you, theres a lot of people struggling in the business market right now so don't feel as if it is your fault.

    Success in Magazine Publishing

    Hi there Bplumm,

I would be interested in learning more about your magazine. With over 5.5 years of successful magazine publishing our business model is doing things differently than the typical publisher. We are having our best months ever during the current economic climate due to our innovative strategies.
Please PM me your magazine details/website/info etc. and I will take a peek and let you know how I can assist.

    Cheers,

    Adam T.

I don't think the word "struggling" is the best term to use if you're searching for investors.

I must of missed it... but I don't see that they are asking for an investor / investment anywhere in the post.

You should post more general information about your company and your situation. Where are you located? What is the magazine called?
