Seeking up to $60,000 capital and offering a 20% ROI

Hey everyone,

As you can see, I'm new to the forum, but I stumbled across it when I was searching for angel investors or venture capital.

Before I go on with the "about my company," I did check out a few threads and there were actually a number of people that said they found investors through classified ads! Who would have thought. I think I might have to give my local craigslist a second chance! Anyway - on to the good stuff.

I'm the President and CEO of my company - and we are a corporate housing provider. Corporate housing is, in a nut shell, luxury furnished/serviced housing that is an alternative to a hotel.

Basically people that are coming to our city on short/long term contracts, usually don't want to stay in a hotel for months at a time. We provide a solution to those individuals, by providing better accommodations, larger space, and better design of the unit itself, all at a much better price than conventional hotels. We still offer housekeeping services, albeit not daily, as well as many other services to our clients.

This is not a new concept by any means - there are numerous competitors on the market. We are simply doing it better than the rest.

We have been in business just over a year now, the company is profitable, we are reinvesting our profits into growth, and in the name of being able to grow faster/catch up to the competition, we need expansion money.

At this point we are still about a year short of being able to approach a bank and just get a loan, so in the mean time we need to seek venture capital from individual investors.

Currently we have three other investors in the company, each of whom is getting a 20% return on their investment. This investment is not a 20% equity stake in the company, this is simply 20% interest on the money they have invested.

We are not offering an equity share in the business simply because at this point its a proven business model, we are able to manage the company well, and we simply need the money to grow. That is what is currently holding us back. I guess you can say nothing is ever "guaranteed" in the investment world, but this is really the closest I would say you're going to get.

We are seeking up to $60,000 in capital at the moment, but you can invest as little as $12,000 as we take the investment in $12,000 increments. We might be seeking more in the future, but at the moment this is all that we need.

To add, as we expand to other cities and start to develop land and expand our business, we would consider offering equity share as we grow to become a global company.
