Seeking Partners for Mobile Marketing Business

I'm not looking for investment partners, rather I'm looking for partners who can help develop our business in their own cities.

My company is launching two mobile marketing apps 1) Empire Gold Card - a digital VIP card and entertainment directory for upscale restaurants, nightlife venues and hotels; and 2) Clipless -- a digital coupon app for retailers and smaller restaurants.

The ideal partners will be in a city with at least 1 million people and have the ability to meet with venue owners. You'll have the freedom to adapt your sales method to whatever works best, but most likely it will involve email and phone calls for initial contact followed by a sales meeting in person.

If you're interested please message me with some information about yourself and I can provide you with more information about pricing, compensation, marketing materials, etc.

You can see the sites for now at: www.empiregoldcard.com and www.iclipless.com

So people have been doing the 'empire gold card' for years. Most of the people that pitch this turn out to be scammers. Those that are not still do not see much success. What makes your idea different then one that has been going around for three decades?

I'm not really sure that the "empire gold card" has been around for three decades as smart phones are a fairly recent technology.

The Empire Gold Card is more comparable to an online directory website that lets venues publicize their events and specials, sell tickets, give directions, and offer VIP treatment. The main difference is that the app provides this information in a more convenient way for people who want information on-the-go. It's also location-based so it shows them the venues offering specials and VIP access in their area.

The venues control all of the contents uploaded to the app and just pay a fee to use the web interface -- so I'm not really sure how that would be a scam.

The coupon app works in a similar way but it's for regular retailers.

Hope that answers your question. Thanks for your input.

It sounds like you are taking the membership card idea and moving it to mobile devices. That's a great idea but you'll still have to over come the hurdle that has faced people doing this for years. You have to get the vendors to buy in - then you have to get the users to buy in - then you have to profit from their transactions - and you have to keep it organized. I'm not basking the idea as it does have some merit. I'm trying to see if you have done your market research and that you have a plan to overcome the obstacles I'm laying out in front of you.

I see people all the time who develop software or a website with out developing the system to use it. You may design the best cutting edge iPhone app for your service but if you can't sell it (to both users and vendors) and then profit from maintaining its ongoing operations then you will have nothing.

Let me know if you want to keep the conversation going. I'm interested in seeing what you have to say.
