Seeking Investor

I'm relatively new to the business aspect of things. I am working on an online project. I'm not entirely sure how to project potential profit, especially because the 'project' is very new and there isn't anything like it out there so I can't look at other established websites and compare profit.

However, after searching keywords (the site is exclusively for parents) on Google AdWords Tool I am able to see that there are locally (I'm in NYC) at least 7 million people searching "parent" alone. Swapping brings in about 100,000 searches. Globally? We're looking at as many as 16 million people searching for variations of parent and nearly 300,000 searching for swapping.

I obviously have more ideas for the site than what is outlined above. I have a developer ready, willing and capable of building the site. I just need the start up capital in order to take care of the website and the business side (filing the necessary paperwork).

If this sounds like something that may interest you, please reach out. I'm hoping to deal locally, again, I'm in NYC.

I only see your short research for keywords.

Yikes! You're absolutely right. The website will primarily be a more sophisticated play off of free cycle but it's exclusively for parents and people with children to swap used and new items as opposed to what I'm doing by packing my closets beyond capacity with baby items that I no longer have use for.

If you have children or no someone with children, you KNOW this is needed.

This is the primary use for the site, I have many other ideas to make it stand apart from freecycle and how to monetize. These things I would only feel comfortable with someone who is seriously interested.
