Seeking co-founder for this mobile app idea

I've got design, marketing and revenue system already nailed. It's going to work. Just need someone who can program an iPhone/Blackberry/Android app.

Barvolution | What's going on tonight?

That's the idea. Throw me your thoughts.

I'm not going to lie, I think that is a BRILLIANT idea. Did you design the site and do the text? I LOVE the idea of "unlocking specials"... nothing like adding value to a site by creating interaction.

Wish I could program, it's a great idea! I'm curious how the marketing stucture works. Do bar owners hear about yoru program and sign up online or do you actively pursue them? Will he app be free and paid for by the bar owners? Just curious, but great idea and site!

I went to college (UCSB) with a guy who runs a social media company in SF and they build apps...convospark.com/
Talk to Brenton Gieser, I'm sure he would love to help you out with this. His other buddies run campusbooze.com, so all in all its right in line with what seems to be your business model. Which I dig btw...If you have any other questions feel free to message me.

Thanks Ryan, I've contacted Convospark and look forward to hearing back from them.

JKansas- the app will be free for everybody. Bar owners will buy premium advertising spots in our subscription-based director (which is the home page for the app). However, we will still have a full list of all the bars whether they advertise or not.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback!

Why did you have a website developed if you don't even know if you'll be able to find a coder?

The website is to show the coder that we're already dedicated to this project We did it ourselves, it didn't cost anything.

I'm working on a very very similar project. One app will be out by end of October. The other is more web based and once they are integrated... revolution.

I could develop the app for you but my concern is how quickly you can go global? Currently its only in Arizona area US? You still need the agreements with promoters?
