    Seeking Capital for Restaurant/Bar

Seeking investors for a Restaurant/Bar located in downtown Oakland in California. This area has seen tremendous growth over the last few years, it almost seems recession proof to say the least, I would estimate about two new businesses a month opening within 5 square miles.

I have secured a beautiful space to open a Restaurant/Bar with a theme of fresh organic and edgy ethnic food with full bar or beer/wine and live music 2-4 days a week.

Im looking for investments with high returns as well as ongoing percentages for higher investments

    I am seeking 5 - 20k

please send a message for my number and more information

    thank you

    Hi Mag,

This sounds like a pretty awesome opportunity. Have you secured the liquor license yet? Do you have a menu for review? Do you have any experience running a restaurant? Do you have a business plan? This sounds like a very cool project but the food business is very tough. That part of Northern California is very well known for its high standards of food as well. I like the band idea. Is that already with the proper city departments? Best of luck and keep us updated on the progress. Does it have a name yet?

Thank you for the response, to be honest this situation has only gotten better. Above this venue is another , one of the bigger clubs in oakland, which has been closed for 5 or so years. All I can say is the liquor license is not far off.

One of my head chefs has a full menu and I will be bringing in a new chef to balance his work and help create some lighter dishes. Link for first chef and his last business below.

I have experience in the restaurant world as well as my chief having run his own restaurant for 10 years and longtime associate who just became restaurant management certified. I myself have experience more on the venue management side having worked throughout california in various venues in different capacities.

Business plan should be done in a few weeks

Focus is on locally sourced and organic produce so the standards I expect for the food are very high

The name so far is a play off of an african flower "Dappa"

To keep it simple there seems to be no issues moving this business along just working towards more capital , not looking to go half in
