    Seeking Capital For Expansion

I am expanding my internet marketing and solutions company. We just established a partnership with a company in India so we will be handling many more projects. We have also devised a strategy to gain market share. We are seeking $3,500-$4,000. Please contact me at Lorenzenorg@aol.com so I can provide more details. Thanks.

Please send your business plan. My consulting company works with a lot of individuals that may be interested in this small amount of money. Are you looking for a loan or an equity investor.

    What are you doing

Please tell me that you are getting these people to signing an agreement. This agreement states that the people reading this plan can not use the information without consent of you. Also are you not going to ask information about these investors. References, anything.

I agree with jandm -- Always make sure to get a Non-Disclosure agreement signed before handing out a completed Business Plan. Many people prey on these types of situations to get samples that can be picked apart for their own reasons.

As far as the investment amount- if you are offering equity, shouldn't you ask for a little more than a measly $3-5k? Angel Investors generally look as low amounts like that as a deterrent. If you are willing to sell part of your biz for such a low amount, is it really worth investing into?

I agree with Paul. You should be able to find a simple Non-Disclosure, or Confidentiality, Agreement online rather easily for your use.

When it comes to the investment amount though, I would have to disagree. The amount that you seek should not be determined by what others might think of the request. Rather, the amount you seek should be supported by the plans that you have for the money. If it seems a little low to interest outside investors, then it should be that much easier to seek the financing from those around you, such as family and friends.

    Good luck.
