Seeking a venture to invest in

    Hi YE members,

I am on the lookout for a solid early-stage venture in which I can invest both money and knowledge. However, I have strict guidelines that must be met in order for your venture to gain my investment.

You must be able to provide:

    1. A full, comprehensive business plan (if you don't know what this includes then don't bother contacting me)

    2. A successful venture that you have previously been associated with, including specific details of your role and contributions

    3. At least 2 references from your previous venture

    4. A proprietary technology in a niche market (something disruptive and innovative)

    5. web 3.0, cloud-related software, cloud-related hardware, IPTV, biometrics or web-based finance applications are preferred

    6. Interest from other investors

    7. Not just a one-man team, you have an actual team ready or in place that also have business experience (be it in a start-up or as an employee in a larger firm)

    8. Your estimated (and realistic!) pre-money valuation

    9. All legalities covered, incorporation or business name documents, NDA's, employment contracts, stock issue (if applicable) etc.

If you can provide me with a detailed document containing ALL of the above, email it straight away to hamishwagner@gmail.com and shoot me a PM introducing yourself. Be sure to include an IM address.

Looking forward to seeing what YE members have really got

Even tho I meet almost every one of those requirements, the capital I need is probably much more then you are willing to give out.

Not necessarily, you could be surprised, send over the details if you meet the requirement along with your funding requirement. Be sure to include a pre-money valuation!

Just to give you an idea, it would be a middle size retail store. I need $200,000 - $300,000 to start it.
