Our site is nearly out of the beta stages. We're looking to add a new member to the team. This person would ideally be an experienced Real Estate Investor and/or community builder.
Your role on the team:
- Most importantly, building our budding community!
- PR for the site, networking with existing contacts (trulia.com, mashable.com, bloggers)
- Forum moderation, management, etc.
- Blog writing, organize guest bloggers
A little about the direction of the site:
It's important to open up the "flipping" community to further progress responsible real estate investing. Less BS, more honest advice! We want to encourage real estate investment in ways that are responsible to the community, the environment, and of course your own finances...
Technology:
- Rails based social network. Not out of the box. Coded and designed by yours truly.
- We've intentionally kept the site simple, in the hopes that we will be able to adapt to our users needs and beat out our competitors.
- We'll add features you feel will best help grow the community.
- We've spent the last few months working out the bugs, link building and we finally have some Google / SEO juice.
With an experienced community builder the site will grow beyond the current pace (roughly 20 memberships per week). We recently were named one of the Top 50 Ways to Market Real Estate Online and every review received to date has been overwhelming positive.
Compensation:
- Equity Share of the Co. depending on experience and level of involvement.
- We're open to suggestions and recognize your time is a valuable asset.
