Picking a bad time to try to flip real estate. I'd say for someone who has the available cash to buy and hold a property for 2-5 years, this would be an opportune time to get into the real estate market. Any expectation that a property could be sold for a profit in less than a year is hopeful at best.

I am looking at getting into the real estate market. I live in Canada and we are just starting to get the housing crash like the states have. I am saving some cash now to buy lots of properties over the next couple of years. Buy them low and turn them quickly. There is too many houses on the market and no one can get credit here.
Lots to choose from. Flipping is good but you have to make sure you are buying the worst house on the street, to get your money back that you put into it.
