I represent a company that services him, so yes, it is an investment into P.Diddy's property and company, anymore questions?

I totally understand your argument with his named used and misrepresented as a direct investment with his career. It is an investment into his property and promotion of his company/name.

I made it quite clear I'm not Diddy, i'm with a company that has an agreed service with him, we are private, we come to agreement to obtain a certain service with him. Many things will be disclosed, but I have everyright to use his name. Now, if you have any more question on this matter, you can message me or simply stop "hijacking" my thread with post not concerning my need for investors, thank you. If your not going to invest or inquire information about investing, then why bother?

I am simply responding to your posting, and no, I am not going to PM you, because this is how we all discusss these issues on forums, because as long as you start a post, then anyone has the right to respond and to know what's being said. If I PM you, then the conversation stays between you and I, and that's not what the forum is about.

Your initial pitch and the follow up to my question imply that you are or are associated with P.Diddy and or his business/property as have stated. Now, if you had responded to my first question as you did now, that you do not represent him as you first said, and that the company you represent is not his property as you first said, and that you only work for a company that has a contract with him, then that sounds normal. And yes, I do have experience in concert promotion and production. And when you are trying to promote/produce a concert and trying to raise funds, this is not how you do it, especially when you are misrepresenting yourself.

Make it simple for everyone. Just say, hey guys, I am trying to do this concert with A and Z, I have signed contracts with them, and have a secured venue and date, and I am looking for some funding to produce the concert events. Don't event mention that you already have sponsors, because if you had sponsors in place, who have contributed funds and resources to the events, then you won't be posting on forums looking for funding for the events.

Now, if you really need help on how to better plan/produce your event, then just ask. We'll be happy to help you in every way we possibly can.

I do wish there was a startover button , and thanks for correction and advice on pitching my ideas. I do tend to get a little hostile due to my hardheaded self. Well to lay it all flat out, we do have sponsorship with a beverage company, but with the deal we have, they aren't covering property expenses at all, that is where I come in to try and seek funding to make sure everything goes according to plan. We do have contracts with artist, one is a grammy winner. The property does belong to P.Diddy.

If people can help with advice or tips with any concert production at all, It will be grateful. I will continue to use this board for future concerts aswell, so I hope I can gain a few partners aswell.

lately, for professional reasons, i've spent some time hanging around convicted con artists and fraudsters.
interesting dudes, pretty switched on.
the game plan is pretty much the same all the time...pick greedy marks and exploit this weakness with name dropping and hyperbolic promises...so I think lots of business people catch on pretty quickly and develop an allergy for salesy kind of pitches

for me..really, the most important thing is the resume of the person doing the pitch..and if that's not available, I don't even bother
i've been around long enough to know that projects have a tendancy to go south more often than projected, and with this in mind, usually, the only collateral an investor can count on is the reputation of the person who is taking their money.

Yes, Danny, everyone of us, either here or elsewhere, are all in need of something. Because we are all competing for resources, to make a living, to survive, and whatever it is that we may need, we can only get it if we are completely straight forward with each other. Let alone be the fact, that we all make mistakes, but the best education is not to do the same mistake over and over.

What I have learned too, is this, to make it in life, especially in this competitive market, in a crowded global economy, where everyone is doing everything he or she best can, to better him or herself in order to best compete, there is only one thing one needs to do to effectively get what he or she wants; and that's to gain the trust of everyone. And you can only gain the trust, like you've said, if people get to know you, and the best thing to do for people to get to know you, is to properly introduce yourself, let people get to know you first, but be honest and straight forward with them. Your resume, link to your blog or LinkedIn profile is the first best thing.

No matter where you go, no matter whom you speak to or ask for anything, if they can look at you, and gain your trust based on your pitch, based on your person information, based on your honesty, then you can have anyone listen and do whatever you want them to do. But if you come out like Moe did on here, you can't get anything, from anyone, unless from stupid ones, and there're no more stupid ones out there.

Too many Nigerian scams, and that have partly made the stupid ones learn the ins and outs of life and con artists.
