    Offering a 500% ROI on $4k

    I'll be brief.

I do direct sales with a product I create for about $.20/unit. I resell it at a huge mark-up - between $5 and $15, depending on my mood and if I like the person, and even at the price, they thank me for it, because it's a good product at a cheaper price than other people are selling it for. I've only been doing direct sales for two weeks or so, but I've been researching the market and lining up good suppliers for months.

As it stands, I can make 17,000 units for about $4k. After the dust settles, profits would be anywhere from $55k to $160k.

I've been watching my competitors for some time. Some of them do alright, but none have utilized the internet in the ways that I know how to. I live on an internet marketing forum, and could put together a great looking site that would dominate the search engines and social networking sites. The effect of that would be more orders than I'd know what to do with.

Aside from a website, I hope to do wholesale with select brick and mortar establishments.

The fact that I've done all the homework and research and am just limited by lack of funds is killing me. I'm a young guy with no credit or anything like that. I'm pretty lost as far as obtaining funds is concerned. I've decided that an angel investor willing to take a chance with a relatively small investment is the only way that this is gonna happen for me.

Anyway, there's my spiel. What do you think? Is there any advice you guys can offer? Would anyone be interested?

    Thanks a bunch.

I really have no idea what the products are you selling but based on the information you have given, you do not need a loan or anything like that. If you are saying that one unit ($0.20) turns into $5 at the smallest....... umm then instead of shooting for 17million units, why not start with 100 at a time. And save up the profit. If you have the ability to turn a quarter into $5... then you have the ability to be smart and build your way up without rushing into it.

Besides, how long would it take for you to sell 17million products anyway? A month? (556,000 a day) A year? (46,500 a day)?? are you that good a salesman??

WOW, typo. 17,000 units, not 17,000,000. Hahaha.

Good advice, simplyfreegas. I'll tell you that the only reason I want to move quick is because the window may or may not be closing with some laws that might be going into effect. Other than that, I'd take my sweet time.

I just thought I'd ask here 'cause I know $4k is a pittance to some people.

Well some people may claim it's a pittance... doesn't mean it is.

Now you can ask Bill Gates because to him it's less than a pittance. hahahaha. In 2009, his net-worth increased by $150 every second for the entire year. So he'd make that $4K in less than 30 seconds.
