My startup is aiming to take advantage of the occupy movement by releasing a social media platform that caters for crowdsource funding and community project processing like kickstarter.com
We also aim to innovate ways in which people are rewarded for work and labour by having a community based reward system. For example a person helping out to plant trees or repair cracked pavement can be rewarded by well meaning local businesses by giving them say a gym membership or haircut or VIP bar access etc.
Its basically community social network. We got heaps of other plans and ideas but for now these are our main focus for development.
My personal background is business/marketing although much of my knowledge is based around science and actual understanding of people/behaviour.
If I had to make one claim in life it would be
No economy without society
No society without culture
No culture without believe
No believe without happiness
No happiness without love
No love without people.
Point been made is that people are the crucial component in a global system. We are afterall just a bunch of overgrown and hypersexualised apes. We have our talents of course but are a little mad from it all. So much so that I think I can change the world.
