Question New Online Business Forums Venture

Hi I have possible access to the domain :
    businessforumsonline.com

I am looking for someone to help with the development costs of the site.
I have have various bids from private website developers, who will be willing to create a business forum type of site. Very much like this one.

I wish to either develop the site slightly, and re sell with the domain for a profit, as I believe the domain with a developed site would be of good value. Or Develop the site fully, and either build on that site and gain profits from adverts etc. Or simply re sell the whole thing as a business.

You can contact me through here ir email. Or msn

    Thanks

Is there really a need for another business forum? there are loads out there.. you may need to make it a little more niche to really promote it.. what would make it different from this one?

The domain sounds like it might be better suited to a directory type site, or even a review blog?

Yea, I don't think there is much room in the "small business" market for a general forum.
MoBubble is a proximity based real-time mobile marketplace that makes it easy to find buyers/sellers within your local area. We call that area your mobile bubble, and it travels with you wherever you go, finding opportunity. Mobubble.com

The other posters are correct.. this is a flooded market.. what would make your site different and do you have a marketing plan?

emily77 no offence but I think you should properly promote yourself, on a seperate thread. That is why no one is replying.

Well yea I am not definatley going ahead with the idea. And no I wasnt going to spend a huge amount on the site so I doubt it would be anything special.
But how about the domain itself? Would there be any profit in that, or is it not really anything special?

Anytime you have a domain name with 'online' in it you basically can sell it for what you paid $6 or so. This is a generic term used when the better names are all taken.
