New Company the is proven to be extremely profitable is looking for expansion capital

New Company that is proven to be extremely profitable is looking for expansion capital

    Hi everyone,

I'm 18 years old without any established credit (in fact, I don't even own a credit card yet), and I run an web-based company that I'm about to get incorporated.

What I need is a capital partner who can help me out with the expansion/promotion process of my company.

It's a high-end, article writing company that already has existing customers and a handful of employees.

I run the company myself and I have about 20 people working for me at the moment.

It's currently generating around $2000/month from paid members and I'm really looking to expand as soon as possible.

I'm only looking for a $6000 loan. I can return your money, plus more, within 3 months at the rate at which I'm earning.

"Well, why don't you choose these options?":

    - credit card (credit line isn't large enough and I need to expand now, not gradually increase it overtime)

    - family (my family is poor/middle class people who would NEVER loan me any money, not because they wouldn't do it but because they don't have it)

I started this business with nothing about 4 months back and overcame a major setback, in which I almost lost everything. But my passion for this business and determination to take action and move forward got me back on my feet within 2 weeks.

Again, my prices are high and the business already grosses $2000/month from just a handful of customers. Your initial investment will be returned, plus more, within 3 months.

Bonus: This will become a future asset for you as well. Because not only will your initial investment be returned, but you'll also share a percentage of the monthly profits.

    Thank you

"I'm only looking for $6000 so that I can establish more monthly income so that I can move to my desired living environment."

This sentence caught my attention...for some reason I don't think investors like to hear that...

    Wow, that's pretty cold guys.

    Fine, fine, I'll edit it.

But just know this: Stealing $6000 and moving will only put me in a financial crisis. What would I do once the money ran out? I'd have no choice but to invest it into something that can multiply it on a montly basis.

How do you have 20 employees with only $2000 per month in income (do you mean sales or profit)? I have 10 employees with $120,000 in monthly income. You need to make sure you are using the right terminology. Do you have a business plan? What do you plan to spend the money on? Are you looking for a loan or a partner? What type of articles does your company write? I’m located in Washington, DC and would love to talk to you more. Even if I don’t invest I might be able to help you to better present yourself.

PS: Never tell investors you need money to improve your ‘lifestyle’. Lastly, you are in no position to tell people “think people, think” as that is a bit rude and contrite.

    From Wikipedia:

Income: generally defined, is the money that is received as a result of the normal business activities of an individual or a business.

Profit: is the making of gain in business activity for the benefit of the owners of the business. The word comes from Latin meaning "to make progress", is defined in two different ways, one for economics and one for accounting.

By the way man I give out about $10k-$20k yearly to 2-4 different people who are starting out their businesses. I give it as a loan with 0% interest and I give them a long time to pay it back. I do this because I have the money and I know how hard it is to start with nothing. I'll tell you what though, if I saw somebody say they want money so they can move into a nicer house they would not see a dollar from me.

If you are looking for investors try saying that you have passion for your business and you are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed....

Do you do this as a grant? Are their tax benefits? I’m not the type to do a zero % loan. I’m just wondering what motivates you to do it?

    Thanks for the advice guys.

I admit that I can present myself better. And I will in the future.

    Thanks for the tips.

    And Roger: Let's do lunch

The truth is, I really do have a burning passion for what I do. And while I didn't show that in my initial post, I'm showing it now.

Thanks to you guys, I just remembered that online presence, even in a forum, really counts for something.

*whew* I won't make that mistake again.

    Payment details for employees:

Currently I have 8 people actually *working* and I just hired 17 more. So up to this point, I've been paying my writers $5.00 per 350 words (I generally send them 10 articles a day, which is about $50/day).

The articles that I sell are 100% unique, custom-made, and written to the customer's specific guidelines.

So what the customers do (in abbreviation) is:

    1. Pay
    2. Send me their article request details
    3. Receive within 2 weeks
