    Need Investor - $1,000 (50% Return)

    Hello,

My current project ran over budget and we are short $1,000.00

We will give a 50% return of $1,000.00 in 4 months which equates to $1,500.00 returned to you.

Please contact me if you are interested. We can draft an agreement to make it legally binding. I prefer to deal with US investors only as we are in the US.

    Thank you.

    Reginald

This isn't a sweet deal... its an opportunity to give away money. It's nothing personal but your approach is horrible! You are offering no collateral. For the amount of money you need a bank, credit card, prosper.com, or borrowing from someone you know would be a better approach. Me looking at this from the point of view as a potential investor I wonder why you haven't gone that route. And if you did but could not get the money then what risk did they see that you are not disclosing.

If someone had $1000 to invest they would be better off going onto Prosper and investing it their with their direct loan program. At least there they could diversify their risk (this is not investment advice).

You did not mention what your project is... what you need the money for... If I was writing a template for exactly how to look like a scam your post would be a perfect example. You most likely are not a scammer and have a legitimate need. I'm just telling you how it appears from the investor side.

Well, I will give you the benefit of the doubt because you don't know me, but I clearly said we can draft an agreement that is LEGALLY BINDING and requested an investor in the USA as I am in the USA and do not want to deal with any scam artists posing as legitimate investors. Yes that happens too!!

Respectfully, I do not appreciate your insinuating that this is a scam. You could have PM me for more clarity if you were concerned/doubtful.

Serious parties please reply if you are interested as it clearly states it will be legally binding. In order to protect my privacy, I did not disclose all details, however, you will know more details once we reach an agreement.

    1. what i don't like is how you are pricing your debt
you are offering 150% p.a. return
debt is priced based on risk..
i don't know anybody who'd buy debt at 150% p.a....at that price, debt doesn't usually get paid back.
at 150%, your note would be comparable to a lottery ticket

    2. the other point is the amount of the debt issue. if you had a job, you could easily earn and save $1k in 2 weeks max, without having to put up with me and all this nonsense
instead, you'd rather not work and overpay for your debt...you'd rather go around for god knows how long talking about this one thousand dollars than just rolling up your sleeves and spending a couple of weeks waiting tables or whatever
Solid operators just don’t do this kind of thing..

p.s. also, please don't use words like "legally binding"
the last thing I want to think about is chasing you through the courts for $1,500
like why would you even suggest that, it's obscene

Thank you for your input. Dude, this is a FORUM!! How much money do you really expect to get on here????? I would never expect to receive anything over 1K in a forum buddy. This is an informal environment....if I get the 1K cool. If not, I will survive bro.

I'm sorry you have a negative attitude. I went as far in my last post to directly say that I did not believe you were a scammer. I simply said your pitch makes you look like one. I was trying to offer corrective advice on how not to look like one. My apologies. Any agreement is only worth the money you are willing to spend to enforce it. In this case the time and energy required to track you down over $1500 isn't worth it. In fact it would probably cost more just to take your to court to get the money back.

I would really like to see a success story here. If you were to go out and spend the next 4 weeks earning the money you need you would be able to maintain 100% ownership in your project. That would be very respectable.
