We are currently looking to sell our intellectual property and products to an established company that has the ability to take the products to market. Need help in doing so. Not looking for investors but for someone to take this, buy it outright and run with it (upon due diligence being completed of course). Can anyone refer us to an “agent” who can help us sell or what is our best approach and to whom in order to get this on the right track to being sold?
We have developed of sophisticated line of software for smartphones that is created to protect children against online predators and cyberbullys. Our line of security products allows parents to filter whom is able to text(sms), email or phone their child. The parent creates a “safe list” as to whom can text, email or phone their child and if someone who is not on that list attempts to contact that child then the parent/guardian receives the call, email or text first and can either block it, delete it all together or forward it onto to the child. We also have a GPS element that allows parents to create a "safe zone" for their young child, so if this child steps out of the "safe zone" the parent has created, the parent is immediately alerted and can then go and see where their child is either via their cell phone or computer.
The product is solid and we believe is in much need with cyberbullying on the rise and teenage/young adult suicide on the rise as well because of cyberbullying. This technology will also block predators from communicating with your child as you, the parent/guardian, are the front line for receiving "unwanted, unsafe" communications being sent to your child.
We are not looking to build a sales, marketing, and distribution business nor build an operations and support network. As stated above, we are currently looking to sell our intellectual property and products to an established company that has the ability to take the products to market. Hoping for a cash/equity deal
Below is a summary of the highlights:
Business Model
Direct and partnership sales to anyone who owns a smartphone.
Market Size and Description
The Sentinel market is under-age-15 smartphone users: this represents 80 million users in North America, and roughly 1.35 billion worldwide.
Describe the Competition
Competitors mostly offer limited functionality and would need to redesign their products to implement key changes in operational functionality in order to represent any serious competition.
Our Competitive Advantage
We provide control without spying; block phone calls, SMS, and emails; "white-list" strategy, where all inbound communication is blocked by default and parents choose to permit only those they trust. Our product is not specific to a certain carrier or hardware manufacturer nor do you have to install or buy any additional hardware in order for our product to run. It can simply run on the current smartphone you own.
Large-scale Customer Targets
School boards, parent-teacher associations, children’s advocacy groups.
