Music & Art Company Looking for Capital

Hello

My name is Oliver Primus and I run The 405 (google it- Won't let me post a url) which is a Music & Art review website. We've been running for about a year but currently receive around 40-50'000 hits a month. We've got a huge following on facebook/last.fm/myspace/twitter and a healthy number of newsletter subscribers.

I started the website because I have a passion for music & art and I feel that my drive has pushed the site to the forefront of this sector.

We've put on two shows with Rough Trade Records in Notting Hill. They asked us to partner with them and based on the fact that we sold out the venue (the venue owner said it had never happened before) they asked us again and it was just as successful.

Currently we've got three venues after us (Buffalo Bar/Proud Galleries and Boogaloo) because they know just how strong our brand is and know they'll get a unique event out of us.

In terms of the site we've had a lot of advertising interest but I'm in need of capital to help start our record label and to put on more shows.

I'm in the situation whereby If we had capital we could easily make money.

If you are talking about the site The 405 - Home somehow there is lot of design problems. For example texts didn't appear inside boxes, they where overlapping, top of the screen shows only white boxes, etc. Have you tried the site in lower resolution screens? Have you tried it using older browser versions?

I think that might have been due to the fact that I was updating some stuff on the site. It should be ok now. The only known issues we've been having is with IE but all other browsers are running smoothly!

Hi Oliver. If you are seeking to raise money, you should have an "ask"; meaning, you should have a specific amount you are seeking, the type of security you are seeking to offer (debt or equity), and the terms of your offering.

Also, you need to be careful about promising "... we could easily make money" - jst stick to the facts.

What is your business, what is your business model, i.e. how you make money.
