My name is Charlie Cantu and I've been in the nightlife/bar industry for going on 6 years now. I have built one of the most respected event planning and promotion companies in Houston, TX where I live. We have come across some oppurtunities and are seeking investors. We are currently able to obtain some the biggest venues in Houston and are looking for someone to invest in getting people packed inside of them. Celebrity appearances, DJ sets, concerts, etc. For example, I can get Vinny of Jersey Shore to come down and host a big party. Full investment which includes his rider, airfare, ground transportation, and advertising will come out to about 25K. I am able to obtain 100% of ticket/door sales and a small percentage of bar sales ranging from 10% to 20% depending on venue. We obtain a venue with a capacity of 2,500 people and put it to capacity and sell tickets at $25 per head....you do the math. Double your investment and all the time that would be needed would be the 2 months for proper advertisement which would include radio, flyers, street team, campus crawls, and the whole nine yards. I have numerous celebrity contacts and we can range anywhere from a Vinny appearance to a full concert at a 20-40k venue with an A-List artsts.
