I am trying to start a Gaming Ladder/Tournament website business where people can compete to be top ranked and play tournaments for prizes.

Host $15/mo., but when more people come it will go up to dedicated host when we start making a lot of money... its around $150-400/month, but that's for a while when we get lots and lots of business.

Advertising on Website and Forum and newsletter
People Entering into Tournaments for Money
Example: 32 teams enter at $10 per team to register for tournament = $320 1st - $100 2nd - $75 3rd - $50
And thats about $100 for the website.

After doing my research, we would charge ad spaces at $5-10/day (up to $300/mo. Per Ad) with i think we could get lots of ads on the forum and 1 huge ad on the front page of site then on the slide show put some ads, but right now we would probably charge around $2-3/day until we get lots of people visiting the website and then we can charge more!
Example: There are 2000 Active Members on our website and we have 3 ads on main website and 5 on different pages on forum = 2,400+ Avg. and we could get more ads going when we have more and more people on the site. + What people pay for tournaments.

Well i am looking for Around $400-1000. It costs About $400 To get forum, site. Then Anything above that to advertise, make t-shirts and so on...

How does it make money?
From Company's Advertising on our website or forum. And from People entering in tournament.

How do we make money from tournaments?
Heres and Example.
Example: 32 teams enter at $10 per team to register for tournament = $320 1st - $100 2nd - $75 3rd - $50
And thats about $100 for the website.
(I am arranging deals with Turtle Beach (High Class Gaming Headset Company) And they will give us turtle beach head sets to give out for tournament prizes, so that means we keep First or maybe second place prize money, so we would make around $100-175+ every tournament from what we would usually get.)

Where would we advertise?
On Gaming Forums, Google Adsense, Facebook.

Why would our site be better that competitors?
Gamebattles.com (Our main competitor) Has so many glitches and terrible referee. We would have more and smarter referees. And none of those Glitches that are as bad as the Gamebattles ones.

As an investor what percentage of profits do i get for investing?
25% Profits + Oversee Website and Have say in anything on the website.

What would my position be for the website?
You don't "Need" to do anything. My friends and myself would do everything while you layback and relax making money! It would help if you Moderated the forums a little bit or things like that... but really you don't have to do anything.
