Looking to start a venture in a brand new, hungry market

I am an analytical, business-minded American currently living in New Zealand. As a voracious observer of detail, and a person with deep knowledge of both countries, I have made observation on what the population of 4.3 million want, but lack in their somewhat isolated domestic market. I have done research on domestic buying/selling websites, as well as review sites, and found that this certain branded product, which I am able to obtain with a small amount of capital, sells consistently for an absurdly high price! This is a product that is hot and well-known in the US, but lacks any actual commercial presence in New Zealand, save for them randomly popping up on auction websites.

I am in contact with representatives of the company, who are willing to sell to me at rock bottom factory wholesale price, and I have the logistics worked out to get rid of the big problem with importing to New Zealand: shipping! I can get this from Southeast Asia and/or Australia. There are inefficiencies to be corrected, even in the globalized world we live in, and it is the entrepreneur's and investor's job to fix this. Our reward: profit, profit, profit. New Zealand is a prime example of this: An extremely economically liberal, modern Anglophone naion with low purchasing power (a good thing and highly underestimated figure in international trade) that has no competitors for this brand, or even type of product I am going to be selling.

To sum it up: this is a completely untapped market that has proven to have a demand for this product (the name of which I cannot share right now for obvious reasons). So we have two problems and one solution. Problem one is the fact that I don't have the capital to start this venture, and YOU aren't making massive returns off this small but obviously lucrative proposition. I am offering generous ownership equity that can be worked out privately.

    Thanks for reading,

    Robert
