Looking to Invest in New Opportunities

I have a figure in mind of what I want to invest in 'New Opportunities'.

I'm specifically looking for people who are entering a new or fairly new market to put their case across to me.

I won't discuss what I am prepared to invest openly, as experience has shown that if you are prepared to invest $100 then by chance that is the exact sum that is being sought after, and if you are investing $10,000 then the same company is all of a sudden looking for $10,000.

    No time wasters please.

Would a graphic/interactive design agency be considered 'new'? Web design has been around in an artistic sense for 10 years, but that can relatively be considered new I suppose.

I already have a company site up if you're interested in seeing more.

    Thanks,
    John

    An education(computer) institution

Is this investment restricted to any particular country or geography?

    Take a look at Tweetclubb.com

It's bare-bones at the moment, but I may be interested in taking on a financial partner to cover expansion costs.

Depending on the investment capital you can bring to the table, I have another project I have a team working on. We are setting up the foundation, then bringing in VC funding. It involves the nightlife industry, and is a radically different approach to change the traditional model of online advertising. PM me if you are interested, and I'll get you an NDA and additional details.

John, thank-you for expressing an interest. I'm a graphic designer myself (amongst other things) this is a saturated market that I am not interested in investing in further.

I'd be interested in hearing more about what you have to say. No particular geographic restrictions. There are certain countries I wouldn't deal with but I'm open to offers.

    Real Estate Investments

I'm getting started in Real Estate Wholesales. I don't know if you are familiar with wholesales but the general idea is that a wholesaler gets a property under contract at 70% or more below market value and assigns the contract to another buyer for an assignment fee. Then that buyer usually rehabs the property for retail sale, rental property or lease options. The problem for me is that I don't have enough excess cash to do an earnest money deposit on the properties. If you interested in potentially funding my real estate venture, you can PM me or email me at s.ruddell at yahoo.com

Would you be interested in my startup site ChickFlickSurvival.com?
It focuses on movie reviews for males around ages 16-30, it will be a humorous site that features user submitted content as well as staff content such as reviews on 'chick flicks' and 'guides' for watching films.

I plan on expanding through advertising and also plan on implementing advertising. It is a concept site that I came up with recently and I realize that there are other movie sites in the market, I feel that my site however will be able to stand on its own as a profitable site.

    Thank you.

In response to you both, firstly I have no real geographical restrictions but as I've said before there are certain 'well-known' countried I would avoid e.g. India.

Secondly, I am in the UK so yes I would most definately be interested in a UK based start-up but not exclusively

I would entertain an investment in enerealm.com

The site and product relationships have been established.

To compliment the site I am creating a web based event promotions(clubs, concerts, etc...) application as a means to generate traffic virally as well as other "stickey" content like music and video.

The market for energy drinks is the fastest growing niche in the beverage industry.

    Jenie,

I avoid India based on previous experiences. My telephone bars +91 numbers. I wouldn't for one second suggest that everyone in India is to be avoided. It's just the large group of those based in India that give the rest a bad name.

    Grizzly,

I sent you a PM about a possible investment opportunity. Is there anyway I can contact you to explain in more detail. Either Real-time IM/Skype, phone, or e-mail. A PM with your contact information would be great.
