    Looking for website backend programmer

Right now our website is using a CMS and will need to have it optimized and uploaded regularly with new products and research and development information. My expertise is more on the marketing and sales side of e-commerce, looking particularly for someone with the functionality of e-commerce websites. Will need to implement better shipping and handling functionality very soon. More projects to be developed.

Will discuss either payment for services or potential as a shareholder depending on your background, experience, and interest in working together.

Our website link is published in my sig.

    Cheers,
    Brian

Thanks, I looked into the SEF joomla option in the config. Just had me rename a txt file and click a radio button, seemed pretty simple. Was there anything else?

Changed around the layout a bit as well.

We have ~ 20 users so far, with a target market of 100,000 Ford Focus owners.

you have to watch if you're using anything like the community builder username URL rewrite plugin. You will have to modify .htaccess at the bottom with the code from that as well for the 404's. You also wanna watch that cuz then users can change their username and it screws with stuff. Also make sure you have the template you want.

There was a new release 1.0.15... security update. Apply it now if you can.

If you need any more help with joomla let me know. Most of my sites are powered by joomla or mambo. I'm pretty familiar with the mods/components and plugins.

Thanks guys... working on getting it back up, stuck on the reinstall part where I configure the MySQL...

Edit: Thanks pentupentropy for the guidance, was able to get joomla reinstalled with virtuemart again. Will likely take another couple days to recreate our product database, but... hopefully it will be better than before!
