Looking for web dev co-founder/partner or % equity

I have a couple websites, mostly dynamic or database driven. My old partner no longer has the time to maintain the websites due to a family and full time day job. I have a degree in Internet business and located in Orange county, Ca, have a full time job but can dedicate as much time as needed to get these sites off the ground and making money. Each site has a different demographic but both also have a specific niche in the marketplace that needs to be filled. One of my sites had a compeitor when I developed it, my site was out first but I didnt have marketing money (they did), 4 years later they sold the site for $17million dollars. These ideas are for real!


I am looking for someone who can make necessary changes, fix the bugs, change layouts, SEO and even work up a site from my storyboards. I am willing to share % of equity in any or all of my sites/ideas with the right person that can bring my ideas to life. I know what we need to do but I dont have the programming skills to do it. Yeah, I can learn but I dont have the time to become an expert! I can pay for it but I would rather have a person I can trust to who believes in the ideas.

An idea is one thing, execution is key!

You just describe a situation where you've launched a website in the same niche as someone else, and they sold for 17million and you didn't. You say money was the issue? I doubt that! There are ALWAYS ways to get creative on the internet, viral marketing is very cheap and highly effective. I hope instead of seeing the ONLY difference between your two venture's as money, that you really analyze the differences and realize where you failed - blaming money will not make your next venture succeed.

Secondly, how much equity are you willing to part with? An idea is only an idea, execution is about 100% of any venture, and w/ that being said, what are you putting forth into making your ideas reality?
