Looking for partners with writing skills

We have a very exciting new business/website model that we have had a good amount of success with.

(edit: it has nothing to do with ogcontent.com, you won't need to freelance, you only write for one site and we will give you topics)

We will design, build, maintain and host the website. All you need is the ability to write and have about 50 or more friends on facebook/myspace that live in the same town/city as you.

This is not a situation where we are sharing pennies of adsense revenue with you, the site will sell a real physical product that people want, and you will make real money, not pennies a day.

You would be expected to write approximately 300-500 words of content every 1-3 days. Just a warning, we are serious and will expect you to write a sample for us to consider you.

I've looked into writing content for the web, and the rate of pay is horrible. Unless you maintain your own site/blog and draw revenue there, it is difficult to make it worth the time. How is your model different?

This has nothing to do with freelance writing, and nothing to do with ogcontent.com. It is a separate entity that I just launched and found to be a very good money maker. It is a model that can be re created in any geographical location.

The people we partner with will get their own site and they will write for that site only. They will write on topics pertaining to their town/city. Like I said the site will also sell a product to make money, the writing is just a source of entertainment and fresh content.

I just wanted to give this a bump because I have had a few inquiries and I don't think I explained it well.

This is not an ebook site or related to internet marketing in any way. It is a business model that sells a physical product you can touch and hold. We will do all the leg work for the site and already have the supplier. All our partners need to do is write a post every few days.

You need no money to start, just a few hours a week. It is a perfect opportunity for students.

I suppose you have some franchise-type model of affiliate marketing, which looks like a good concept to me, in principle.

I think the reason that you get little response is that people don't know what benefits you offer. Why would anyone write for *your* site when they could also be writing for their own site or blog, and not split the money with you? What do you have that makes it worth sharing profits?

BTW, I don't qualify because I don't have enough facebook friends

No it is not affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing generally pays around 10% per sale. We sell a product with a 50% profit margin. With affiliate marketing you need time and big numbers to get to the point where you make real money. With this you start making good money right away.

There is no reason for someone who has the time, money, ability and idea for a great site on their own to partner with us. Why would they partner with anyone? We have all of those things, if you don't then we will come in handy.

The reason we need partners is because the concept is geographically specific, meaning it will work for your town, but we don't know anyone in your town to tell about it (that's where the facebook/myspace part comes in) and we also don't know what to write about for your town.

If you can write, and know a lot of people in your town, we can make money together with our concept. We won't do this with anyone though, we are going to ask you a lot of questions before we tell you our idea.

No it is nothing like that. There will be zero social media manipulation, optimization or any other tricks to become successful. You just need to know some people to tell about it. We sell a product that people want.

We've done this three times in three towns that are nowhere near each other, and every one of them has exploded.
