    Venture Capitalists aren't banks. So, that is untrue. However, you would have to give up company equity, or repay them in full eventually.

    And guys, private investors are usually 'better' than public venture capitalist, FYI. Why? Well, they invest more than public.
    This is not exactly relevant to finding business partners for this project.

    There is a couple of incorrect pieces of information here. You do have to exchange equity or to be more accurate shares for funds from venture capitalists. You do not have to repay them in full eventually, unless you made a dumb agreement for such during the negotiations but this is VERY uncommon, even rare if it does happen. That is what venture debt is for, NOT to be mistaken as the same thing as venture capital and COMPLETELY different in every way. Private is not usually better and they don't always invest more. That doesn't mean they're worse either. It is ALWAYS a case by case scenario and neither are better or worse than the other, it all boils down to your negotiation.
