Exclamation Looking for Partner for Drinking Site

I have 3 different ventures going on (besides working my 9-5 full time job) and my partner dropped out on one of them (for personal health reasons) so I'm looking for a new partner, or someone who might be interested in buying the site because I do not have the time required to run the site by myself.

The site is Boozeable.com. The concept is pretty simple... Bars and clubs are always looking for a way to get people in the door, they sign up with Boozeable and offer people a coupon for a free drink on certain nights of the week. People can then join Boozeable for $3.99/month (though right now it is free) and print out 1 coupon per day to any establishment listed on the site for a free drink. So ideally, a person will pay us $3.99/month and have the ability to get 30 drinks for free for that month. Boozeable wins because we get the $3.99 revenue per person, the person wins because they get 30 drinks for $3.99, and the bar wins because they are getting people in their door at the cost of a drink (which to them is like $0.30 cents). It is a rare thing when all 3 sides win which is why I think this business concept has some legs.

My issue: my partner dropped out. My partner was the social butterfly who had a lot of free time to go out to the bars and clubs and talk to the owners about joining the site. It is free for them to join so if you can convince them how the site will benefit their business there is NO RISK to them to join. Their only expense is when someone walks in their door and redeems a coupon, and at that point there cost is the $0.30 cents that the drink costs them, but when they sell a 2nd drink to that person they are already making a $2-3 profit, and if the person stays the whole night and drinks then they're making that much more profit. So.... right now the business is based in Connecticut. The business plan has already received a letter from the State of Connecticut saying that Boozeable and it's business plan is legal to run in the state. My goal is to conquer Connecticut and then expand outward. So I am looking for either someone located in or near Connecticut that could go out to the bars and talk up the owners into joining, or someone who is confident they could get the owners to join over the phone (I have paperwork and a legal contract which can be emailed to the owner and they can mail back to me).

Because I've had no time the site has sat on the back burner the past 2 months without any new bar signups. I'm not the social butterfly who would do well trying to chat up the bar owners so that is what I need in a partner. Your sole goal would be to sign up bars/clubs/restaurants/etc...

The site currently has about $5,000 invested in it between the site and marketing materials. All these costs have already been incurred so I'm not asking for any investment on your part.

If you are able to successfully sign up places to join the site I'd be willing to give you a 35% ownership in the site.

Or if someone wants to have full ownership I would consider offers to sell the site.

If you're interested please check out the site, get a feel for it, and contact me at info@boozeable.com (or you can try PM'ing me here).

Not a bad concept. There is another guy on here working on a site that is similar. You all should see if you can work together. Try doing a search for Home - DrinkUpDc.com

You should check out Penny Drinks, which is a site with the same idea (and was pitched by someone on these boards more than a year ago). You could team up and leverage each other's skills (if memory serves, he was more on the bar side than the technical side).

There are many ways to deal with this from both the front and back end standpoints, without involving technology such as scanning or barcodes etc. (however that can also be an option).
