I, along with a partner, are opening up a restaurant in Zapata, Texas called God's-Kin Restaurant & Country Bar the first Friday in January (January 6). It is a full service country restaurant based very much on the Cracker Barrel style of comfort food. Zapata is an untapped market for this type of business. There are no other types of restaurants similar to our business in the city. We are opening up as only a restaurant until March. In March we will get our liquor license and will open up the bar aspect (which should double our revenue).

We have a full staff, original recipes, relationships with distributors established (Sysco, Coca-cola, Ben. E. Keith), all our licenses and permits, a state of the art POS system through Harbortouch for credit card processing, and much more. We are finalizing some construction with the building (painting, laying some wood floor in one of the rooms). We’re very excited and have formed relationships with the small business administration, chamber of commerce, and other community organizations. We have already established relationships with the local school districts and will be delivering to teachers and administration on a daily basis.

The mission of the company is not only to give each customer an amazing dining experience through courteous service, spectacular food, and a cozy atmosphere; but to make a positive impact on our community and country. We are doing this by starting a general charity fund where a percentage of each transaction will be deposited. This fund will be distributed to our 4 non-profit partners (American Cancer Society, Coca-Cola save the Wildlife foundation, Journey to Recovery, and King's Way Church food pantry) at the end of each month.

Were looking for some extra capital and investors to help increase our operating budget. We are looking for the capital as soon as possible.

We are currently looking for investors who are willing to invest $5,000, 10,000, $15,000 or $20,000. We are offering 15% interest on any of these investments. If someone invests between 5-10k we will pay that amount back plus 15% interest within 6 months of our opening date.

If you invest 11-20k we will pay back the full amount plus 15% within 1 year. All investments are backed by physical assets that the business owns. We are looking to take on investors only until December 17 and we are capping total investments received at $35k to guarantee that we can pay all investors back plus their interest within the designated time.
