Looking for investors with an interest in toys

    Hi everyone,

I am a part time 'freelance' toy inventor/designer. I am a person with a creative mind but unfortunately lack the 'business mind' to make the most of it. I have worked with quite a few toy companies and toy invention studios on brain storming new ideas. I now have a portfolio of over 300+ of my own new toy designs and have decided I want to take some of them through to shop ready products. I have some good references for my designs and creativity but have now hit an obstacle where manufacturers require working models before they will take a design seriously. I have had words of encouragement from the likes of Sir Richard Branson and Sir Clive Sinclair (inventor of the first personal computer the Sinclair ZX Spectrum) of one particular new toy. The toy they commented on is one of manyI would like to prototype.

Please get in touch if you too have a soft spot for toys and may be in a position to assist in the development of one or more of my designs.

    Kind regards,

    InvenToy

Perhaps you can sit with a mentor (assuming your ideas have been protected by a patent etc). You can take a toy store owner to lunch in exchange for feedback etc.

Also, look into Zopa in your area. perhaps they can assist you in aquiring funds for your prototype.
