Just testing the waters to see if there are any young entrepreneurs that see the potential in the creative franchise me & my partners are currently working on.
I am the writer/creator of the full color graphic novel: BLACKOUT DRUNK - for more information visits: www.axcreations.com - home of BLACKOUT DRUNK, BLACKOUT SKUNK, BURNT! WEEKLY WORLD NEWS ART AND STONER SCAVENGER HUNT
BLACKOUT DRUNK is a comedic look at a day in the life of a quick tempered, but lovable college student named ROD. Due to a typical night of binge drinking at an Animal House type university, he awakens on the bedroom floor, not remembering what the girl he brought home looks like…or what he did with her.
The story follows the crazy exploits and screwball antics of this inebriated self proclaimed Romeo, as he wakes to find himself getting into one escapade after another.
With a twist ending, and hilarious artwork, BLACKOUT DRUNK is a unique property that I look to translate into a successful franchise encompassing all media. The material has endless potential for movies, TV, comic series spin-offs, toys, and just about any other fanboy swag.
Currently we have a finished one-shot 64 page graphic novel ready for print, and script ready for future stories. Last year a spin-off of some of the "stoner" characters that have a small part in BoD - was published in a reoccurring full page strip in Skunk Magazine.
We are planning to grow the project into a franchise that covers comics, books, toys, movies, TV, swag, etc., and have already had interest from a major cable network to adapt the comic into a television series.
The artwork, files, and everything is already completed - we just need funds to help with the printing costs, promotion, and distribution - and someone that can help us market it to the masses.
We are looking for more of a "partner" rather then an investor. We're confident in what we started, and are looking for more then just money - which can be attained many ways. So basically right now we're looking for someone that believes in the project, is serious enough to put an investment behind it, as well as has something to offer to help us grow as far as marketing/promotional skills.
Take a look at what we started on the website - click on BLACKOUT DRUNK & BLACKOUT SKUNK to see what we are bringing to the table, and if there are any like-minded people that see the potential in the college-aged consumer as we do, send me a private message and we can discuss things further.
