Looking for investor to start up restaurant business

Hello investors, my name is Bob Chanthalangsy,
I make the best crawfish boil around my area and my friends would always request it. I live in the midwest and I see hundreds of postings in my area on facebook everyday saying they crave for crawfish. Which gave me the idea to try opening up a crawfish boil restaurant. I believe I can make the best crawfish in my area. I have seen and tried others and there is no comparison. People who have tried my style would agree. I kept my ingredients low key and I even had some girl dig through my garbage to get the ingredients. (yes it's that good..lol) Anyways I am in need of some money to get this going. So if anyone is interested in helping me out, I really believe this will be huge down the future. Thanks for looking

Usually restaurants are purchased with lease terms and then you can change the menu/hire new cheff, etc...
The down payment is something 10% of the price so you should check out what local restaurants are for sale and discuss with owner a good terms.

Something you might want to try is finding an Angel Investor. Your best bet is to google "angel investor". There are a lot of sites that can help you find Angel Investors to fund your restaurant.

You do realize that crawfish is only in season for a few months each year... correct? What are you going to do the rest of the year?

Restaurants have a notoriously high failure rate. Because of this banks will not lend for start-up unless you have 25% equity to put in. The best route here is to do a LBO. A Leveraged Buy Out is where you approach someone who has a restaurant but maybe wants to retire or sell and you convince them to take over operations and pay them monthly. You comes to terms of the sale and then your payments are spread out as you continue operations. This actually happens in the bar and restaurant business a lot.

With that you'll still need the capital to change names (if you really need to) and redecorate (if you really need to)... you will at least need marketing money. If you are in the midwest you could probably pull off an LBO with $50,000 to $100,000 in the bank as long as you going really small.
