So, I came up with the idea for a parenting site friendly to moms AND dads. I got this idea after months and months of seeing an abundance of Mom Sites, but only a select few sites that were dad friendly. The site is amateur at best at the moment (I'm very green when it comes to website design/development, but have done everything myself so far.)
I have sponsors for giveaways lined up (to aid in driving traffic), my Alexa rank is constantly dropping (the site is less than a full month live - Alexa rank a little over 300k down from 5M) With 13k+ page views a month as it is now. I have a semi-steady source of fresh content (as the site grows in popularity, so will the content) and some ideas I cannot implement myself.
I'm either looking for an investor to help with web design/optimization/branding etc - in order to appeal to advertisers (in case you haven't realized, the advertisers go crazy for high quality parenting websites) as well as visitors.
Or, I am looking for a partner with vast web knowledge (design, coding, SEO, marketing etc.)
The financial plan is primarily paid advertising, as well as paid posts, tweets etc.
As it stands right now, the site is set up with articles, groups, a facebook like community setting and blogs.
