Looking for investor or business partner for unique websites

Time is money so I'm going to make this short.

I've got a couple of ideas for some new websites that I think could produce a significant amount of revenue. Basicly one is a website that businesses provide a wait time for their services. (i.e. A plumbing company could say they could have a plumber at your house in under 30 minutes, or a doctor's office could post they only have a 5 minute wait time to be seen, ect.)

Another website idea I had was to provide a way for people to rent out their stuff for a fee. (i.e. You own 40 folding chairs you aren't using? Why not let your neighbor pay you to borrow them for their weekend event? Or say you have a tile saw that you never use? Why not let the guy accross town borrow from you for a nominal fee?)

Good ideas.

The first one seems rather unique and could become a very successful service. The key here would be targeting and reaching out to certain segments of society that are most likely to seek out services online and then find a way to attract businesses interested in getting more exposure and bringing these two together in systemized and effective way.

A good strategy may be initially focusing on one geographical area and generating business interest and cooperation and then once that is set, advertise to the highest value end users. Once a successful strategy is developed for one major city you could then recreate it across other major geographical segments.

That first idea is actually pretty good, but getting people to understand that with so many other startups would take time. You're second idea is something I was thinking about as I was driving through Lincoln, NE the other weekend.
