I am looking for a small investor or partner for a film company. The film company will be based in Omaha Nebraska. I am looking for an investor of $2000. This is to get things up and running. No one is going to loan you $2000 with a 6-18 month return. The amount is so small that investors are not your best (or reasonable) bet. You need to get a credit card or personal loan from a bank. If you can not do that then you could maybe try Personal Loans and Online Investing - Peer to Peer Lending - Prosper. Your pitch is also not great. You didn't mention what type of film company, what the money will be used for, what interest rate you are offering, or how your 'company' is structured. With out this info no one is going to give you the time of day.

My consulting company was based in Omaha. I'm no longer there but I might be able to get you connected if your idea has merit.
And Roger is absolutely correct: no investor will give you 2K for 18 months.
