Looking for business partner in Southern California

If you don't live in Southern California, it's probably is a waste of time to continue reading.

I am a 21 year old college student/web entrepreneur. I am in the final stages of creating what I believe will be the next big thing on the internet--something that will be right up there with the big boys such as: hotornot.com, myspace.com, friendster.com, facebook.com, whateverlife.com; haha, well maybe not as big as myspace, friendster, or facebook, but huge nonetheless!

The problem is I don't know how to program/design websites and I don't have enough money to pay a professional web developing company to build it for me. I either need someone who can fund the project and they will of course become my partner and get a certain percentage of the revenue or someone that is a web developer who can design and program complex websites and will become my partner--I'd much prefer the latter : )

You must be located within Southern California, extremely motivated, willing to work hard (not many things in this world that are worth something come easy), have an entrepreneurial mindset, well versed in business and self help, highly intelligent, well-spoken, creative, reliable, and trustworthy. Whether you are interested in investing money into this project or a web developer, the above still holds true.

If you are a web developer and are interested you must be proficient in the following:

    1) XHTML
    2) CSS
    3) Javascript
    4) PHP
    5) SQL

    Optional, but helpful:

    6) Search Engine Optimization
    7) Flash
    8) Actionscript
    9) Photoshop
    10) Ajax

It might seem stupid that I've come to the internet in hopes of recruiting a business partner for an idea that I believe will be so huge and so profitable, but I don't know anyone in real life who meets the selective criteria and there probably aren't many here, but I'd venture to say I probably have better odds at a place like this.

Also, if you just read this for the heck of it and aren't interested, and you happen to know of a better way to go about finding someone, please let me know : )

Assuming your idea is well laid out and you can answer the hard hitting questions, I'd join socaltech.com @ $25 a month.

Post on their board, go mingle at a couple events (San Diego, Orange, LA Counties) and join LinkedIn. Send an email to the SocalTech group and join one of the Forbes groups.

    This should get you started.
